Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)

The Spirit of God Who Lives in Us is Greater Than the one (devils) in the World

The question is: “Are the people in the church better than the people (unsaved) who are in the world?” (1 John 4:4)

The scripture does not say that people in the church are better than the unsaved (lost).

Let’s get started - The Apostle Paul stated it like this: It is by the grace of God that I am what I am (1 Corinthians 15:10). Therefore no one is better than the other, because it is God’s grace that saved us (Ephesians 2:8-9).

This scripture starts off with John talking to us (children of God) about false prophets and how we can recognize them. We do not accept false teachings; therefore, we do not believe every spirit. There is only one body and one Spirit of God (Ephesians 4:4), but there are many false prophets; spirits working through and in them, in the world (1 John 4:1). Them are plural - devils/demons.

A word of caution: I have heard many people say: Try the spirit by the spirit to see if it is of God. That statement is not true. The Word of God says to try (test) the spirits to see if they are of God because there are many (1 John 4:1).

Stop! How will we be able to recognize these spirits if we are not studying God’s Word?

To live a victorious life, we must understand that the power of God whose Spirit lives in us is greater that the devil/demons who are in the world (1 John 4:4). Again, this scripture is referring to demons/devils working in and through false prophets and not to other unsaved people.

As children of the Most-High God, we accept the truth of His Word and be thankful that we are His children. We are commanded to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send laborers into His Vineyard; for those who are lost to be saved (Matthew 9:36-38.). LOVE them - love covers a multitude of sin (1 Peter 4:8, and witness to those who have not come into His Kingdom (Matthew 28:18-20).

How are you going to do what God has called you to do without studying His Word?

Thanks for your readership! It inspires me to keep writing, even while I am traveling.
