Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ Breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)

How the Lord Arranged a Meeting Between Two Beautiful Ladies and Me on the Ship

I was blessed to go on this cruise with friends, that consisted of fifteen family members from Philadelphia, New Jersey and Texas. We were always together for dinner, breakfast and for certain types of entertainment. Yet there were times when some of us went our separate ways. On this particular day I spent a lot of time on the main floor (deck 5), watching an event that was going on and I was observing people.

After sitting for approximately an hour with my back to some people, a lady who was sitting in the same area with her daughter, touched me and said she liked my headwrap. Remember a couple of days ago, I said God uses something that I am wearing to draw people and me together. This time He used the headwrap.

We introduced ourselves to each other and the Spirit of God was manifesting Himself powerfully as we engaged in a conversation for about an hour and a half. With the sharing, caring, tears and laughter, we were tremendously blessed by being transparent with one another.

The day of our departure, the Lord put us in each other’s paths again. What an awesome blessing; I didn’t think we would see each other again, but God Did It. We were able to hug up on each other a couple more times, and I was introduced to the daughter’s two sons.

What’s even more amazing is, we became Facebook friends and we are communicating with each other. I need to say something to all the people who put negative STUFF (junk) on Facebook and turn some people off; Facebook is a wonderful tool the Lord uses for me and others to encourage others and to share His goodness in different ways.

It reminds me of people in some churches who are playing church (not being a light); some people are turned off and will not go to church because they think and say the church is phony because of their actions. There are people in churches who have a true heart for God.

Please do not let others’ bad vibes affect you. Chew the meat and spit out the bone. In other words, ingest the good and turn your ears and eyes away from what is bad.

Nadine and Chastity, I am blessed to have you in my life. I tell people to get with others who are going somewhere in the Lord; I strongly felt the Spirit of God in both of you. I am so grateful to be connected to people of strong faith.

God bless!
