Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ Breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)
Still Rejoicing in the Day That the Lord Has Made (Psalm 118:24)
This is a piggy-back from yesterday. A situation arose where I ended up in the emergency room, because of the agonizing pain that I had been experiencing for four days. Point Being: I was still rejoicing regardless of my situation. As usual, God orchestrated circumstances through the clothes I was wearing to open the door of opportunity for me to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I am reiterating that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Stop! I just received this revelation while writing. A Key word is PURPOSE. Perhaps, some people have a bad day because they do not understand their purpose, which means they don’t have a real understanding of God.
Don’t think I am looking down on anyone; this also was me for many years of my walk with Christ. The more I grew in the Word of God, the better my understanding became. I am continually understanding that everything God does is good (Genesis 1:10, 12, 18, 21, 25; James 1:17) because He is Love, and Agape Love never does no wrong.
Back to yesterday. Everything didn’t just work for my good only, but it also worked for the good of some others He connected me with. Therefore, being at the hospital because of what seemed to be a bad situation, turned out for good. I am doing very well (healed) by Jesus’ stripes (1 Peter 2:24);He also uses medicine.
For your information: Rejoicing in the Lord is like medicine- A merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit or bad day which is a killer, dries the bones (Proverbs 17:22). It has been proved by medical science that a happy (joyous) person lives longer, and this lines up with the Word of God.
God is amazing! I am still rejoicing in the Lord, for He is worthy of all praises, honor and glory!
