Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ Breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)

Are You Weak and Heavy Laden, Cumbered With a Load of Care?

Are you weak and heavy laden (weighed down with worries), cumbered (burdened) with a load of care?

Precious Savior still our refuge (we are safely in His arms),

Take it to the Lord in prayer –

Why worry about something that we cannot change, or about things we don’t have; maybe we don’t need them. After all, God said He would supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). How many riches does God have – everything belongs to Him (Psalm 24:1, Psalm 50:10-11).

Since we are joint heirs with Christ, we have a rich heritage (Romans 8:17). When the Children of God are worrying, they have taken their focus off God and whatever the focus is on, it becomes their god. Worrying is not trusting God; whatever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23).

God takes care of us; He feeds the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, how much more will He take care of those made in His image (Matthew 6:25-28.).

It is understandable for the unsaved to trust in their gods, but for the children of God, it is uncalled for (Matthew 6:32).

The bottom line is: A lack of faith or distrust is sin!
