Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ Breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)
Blessed Savior Has Promised to Be Our Burden-Bearer
A promise is similar to a contract; once it is written and sealed, the contract cannot be changed. This is the same with the Word of God; whatever He says, it is irreversible, for our God does not change (Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 6:18, Hebrews 13:8 and He certainly cannot lie (Numbers 23:19)
So, when Jesus promises to bear all our burdens, not some burdens (ALL BURDENS) (Psalm 55:22, Matthew 11:28-30); we certainly can take Him at His Word - it is written and sealed and cannot be broken. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, we can stand on every promise of God, because every promise is Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).
We have all assurance that our Blessed Savior Thou (You) Have Promised Thou (You) will all our burdens bear;
And May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee (You) in earnest prayer.
There is power in prayer and it moves the heart of God. This is an example of how powerful prayer is: Elijah was a man subject to passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three and a half years. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the earth brought forth her fruit (James 5:17-18.). I believe the Lord wants us to see the principle of earnest prayer and see how powerful and effective it is (James 5:16b).
I am reiterating, the Word of God; we need to be reminded because it is easy to forget and when that happens, we fall right back into the old mindset. That’s why we need to renew our minds every day (Romans 12:1-2); to be refreshed when it comes to the Word of God, lest we forget.
