Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ Breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)

The Awesome Conclusion of What a Friend We have in Jesus - Soon in Glory Bright, Unclouded

The song does not stop or conclude in the earthly realm; it continues into the eternal state that never ends.

Soon in glory bright unclouded, there will be no need for prayer - Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there. Now I understand what the song “Uncloudy Day” means. When dark clouds are formed, there is an indication that a storm is coming. Jesus has control over every storm (Mark 4:35-41) and we are anchored in Him (Hebrews 6:19).

When we think, consider or ponder about our future and spending eternity with Jesus Christ, all the worries and burdens are minute’. The scripture to support this is: For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us (Romans 8:18.).

Since this world is not our home, it is a temporary place and we are pilgrims (foreigners) here (1 Peter 2:11-12), we should not feel comfortable because we are looking with expectation for our permanent home (Hebrews 13:14).

We know the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now and travail in pain together until now, and not only they, but we ourselves, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves…. waiting for the redemption of our bodies (Romans 8:22-23). There is an inward sense that lets all creation and the children of God feel uncomfortable, because this is not the way it should be. We’re suffering because of Adam’s sin (Romans 5:12).

That is the reason we should not love the things of this world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them (1 John 2:15).

We should be fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who is seated at the place of honor beside God’s throne (Hebrews 12:2), until it is time for us to join Him in heaven. Because we do not know when He will return for us, we should be waiting and watching for His glorious coming, so we can be caught up to meet Him in the air and we will always be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). We must believe this by faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

Let your faith rise and fulfill the purpose God has for your lives, so you will hear: “Well done My good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things; enter into the joy of the Lord” (Matthew 25:21-23).

Oh’ they tell me of an “Uncloudy Day” – All praises, honor and glory to God our Savior and His Spirit that empowers us with the blessed hope to endure every storm, until we see our wonderful Savior!!!
