Setting the Captives Free World-Wide ~ Breaking the Chains of Bondage (Isaiah 61:1)

If Every Day is a Good Day, Why Are There Evil Days?

This message is a follow-up of a message that written a few weeks ago, “Rejoicing in the Day the Lord Has Made”. It was pertaining to every day the Lord makes is a good day. I feel the Holy Spirit would have me bring more clarity so the readers will have a full understanding.

I am sharing the difference between evil and good; The Word of God says that we should redeem the time (make good use of every opportunity to witness and minister) because the days are evil.

Definition: Evil is more wicked or immoral in nature whereas poor or inferior quality is bad. Something causing destruction or violence or in general any crime is evil in nature whereas bad is anything that is not good or high quality. Bad- poor quality or low standard. Evil- profoundly immoral and wicked.

Point 1: Every day has to be a good day, when it comes to God, because everything He made was good (Genesis 1:10, 12, 19, 21). Furthermore, God saw everything He made and said it was very good (Genesis 1:25). When anyone says the are having a bad day, they are having a poor quality or low standard mindset. This is contrary to the Word of God.

Point 2: If every day is a good day, why does the Word of God say the days are evil? Redeeming the time (making the most of every opportunity) because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).

Point 3: Answer to why the days are evil. Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4) and he causes all the evil things to happen. As a matter of fact, according to the Word of God, things are going to get progressively worse until Jesus returns.

Examples of sin on the rise and how it continues escalate: Many murders and mass murders, - this is nation against nation. Who are these nations? They are different nationalities coming against each other. Nations against nations is different from kingdoms against kingdom- they are countries against countries (Matthew 24:4-8.).

Bottom line: What standard are you living by; God’s standard – every day is a good day despite your circumstances, or having a bad day according to the world’s standard, which is living below the standard God desires for you?

People are blaming all this evil on God; He didn’t do it-Adam gave his rulership over to satan and he became the ruler or god of this world. Once God told Adam what would happen if he ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil- He told Adam you will surely die (Genesis 2:16-17), God could not go back on His Word (Psalm 89:34).

Don’t let your circumstances dictate to you, what you speak is what it is - let the Word of God (faith) speak to you; rise up and live in victory.
