Piggyback on The Perfect Recipe
If I had known that God had a plan for my life and He had a plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11), I would have thought the cancer that invaded my breast could have ended up being a life or death situation.
My eyes became wide open to God allowing this overwhelmingly scary situation to end up working out for my good and for His glory. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purposeĀ (Romans 8:28).
Breast cancer ended up being a blessing in disguise because there were multiple health issues in my body that would have worsened- taking medicine for high blood pressure, and high cholesterol for approximately twenty years contributed to me having stage three kidney disease.
I was trusting God to help me to overcome those health issues, and it was the oncologist He spoke through after the surgery; she advised me to see a nutritionist, and I did.
I can clearly see the reason something that seemed to be drastic happened for my desire to come off the medicines would help change my health for the better. The nutritionist said that the diet plan and exercise would cause me to come off some of the medicine which would also cause my kidneys to function better.
Godās ways and thoughts are so than ours; I had no idea how or when my prayer would be answered, but I have sense enough to know this: For My thoughts are not your thoughts,Ā Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,Ā so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Our God is Awesome! He is Amazing! The Lord God is incredible! Please donāt box this Great and Mighty God in; He cannot be contained, because Heās too vast.
From my experience and the message to all readers, we need to see the love of God through our circumstances, regardless of how bad they may seem. God loves us and for every circumstance that comes into our lives, always remember that there is a purpose, and it is for our good and our experiences are to help others when they face overwhelming situations.
Be encouraged and thank God for what He has done to develop and grow you into maturity- Let your faith Rise!
