Say You Love the Lord Where is the Evidence in Your Life? 6-10-26

If you truly love others, there should be some sign.

Jesus said: “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Jesus commands; He never ask: “Will you love each other?” Jesus tells us to love one another. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another (John 13:34-35).

The LIE!

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (1 John 4:20). Somebody ought to stop lying! We may not like what someone does when it’s wrong, but we are commanded to love everybody. Jesus love us; therefore, we should love each other.

I searched for information that gives the answer on some ways that people don’t love another person and AI had the answer I was looking for.

AI- Neglecting Communication:

Failing to express feelings or listen actively can create distance.

Withholding Affection: 

Not showing physical or emotional affection can lead to feelings of isolation.

Judging Harshly: 

Criticizing or belittling others instead of offering support undermines love.

Being Self-Centered:

Prioritizing personal needs over others' can diminish feelings of care and connection.

Breaking Trust:

Lying or being dishonest erodes the foundation of love and respect. Avoiding

Conflict Resolution: 

Ignoring issues instead of addressing them can lead to resentment and disconnection.

This message reminds me of the pharisees who were hypocrites- They had no love for anybody but themselves- They devoured the widows houses. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore, you will receive greater condemnation (Matthew 23:14). They took advantage of the women; used their titles to abuse them and others.

They judged Jesus harshly- In their eyes, Jesus was a threat to them; they wanted the people to look up to them.

They plotted against Jesus- When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put Him to death.  And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor (Matthew 27:1-2).

Saints, if say you love the Lord, there should be some sign. One must walk the walk as well as talk the talk. I urge you to examine yourselves and see if you really love people. If you don’t love people, there is no way possible that you love Jesus.
