Dancing to the Beat!
Getting them in the groove with Gladys Knight and “I Heard it Through the Grapevine.”
Take notice of Carla, whose story has never being featured by me. Even though the same group dances, I don’t remember Carla getting on the floor and getting her groove on. Maybe Gladys Knight was one of her favorites. Whatever the case, there was no shame in her game.
Dottie is always on the floor for every dance, and Blondell is not too far behind in jumping on the dance floor. Yolanda is a new senior “kid” on the block, but she was bold enough to get out there and do her thing!
Back to Carla; I was really surprised but also impressed because she didn’t dance like an amateur, her moves were in sync with Candy's lead.
I don’t have a long story; the seniors spoke for themselves with their bodies. I love seeing them in action, which is very encouraging. I will include myself in this sentence “Ain’t no stopping us now”
Ps. I get my groove on another way; they say for my unbelievable age I have high energy and probably can move faster than most people my age and younger.
Hope you enjoyed the seniors as they moved and grooved! Thanks to Candy who comes quite often to help the seniors to “Keep on Pushing”
