There is so much to be said about this man that I don’t know where to begin. Although we met less than two years ago at the Lindenwold Senior Center, it seems like our friendship has been much longer.
Paul wears all kinds of hats; Easter Bunny, Santa Claus; you name it; that’s Paul, an all around person, at the center and he blesses us seniors in several ways.
Paul really looks out for us, he is always “Johnnie on the Spot” His knowledge and experiences are beyond what one can imagine. By now, one can see it is obvious that Paul loves coming to the Senior Center.
By the way, he doesn’t allow his handicap to stop him. Paul is not just an asset to us; but because his involvement is pretty extensive, we are grateful that he shares himself with us. I found out something about Paul and that was, he is daring.
I said that because a few weeks ago he went to Wildwood for the Chill Seeker Polar Bear Plunge. A couple of people went to support and I think they wanted to see the Polar Bear Plunge live. It was unbelievable!
I’ve said my part; time for Paul.
I have a passion to help people who have needs and partnering with one of the Lindenwold councilman is a great opportunity to fulfill that passion. We distribute certain types of medical equipment to seniors in various communities.
I have been a volunteer fire fighter for twenty one years; I’m willing and ready to do whatever is necessary. I am a master gardener (horticulturist) and I love sharing my expertise with others.
In addition to all that has been said, my main objective is to share how much of a difference being at Lindenwold Senior Center has made in my life. I get involved with all the many activities; don’t miss a beat; and being with new people has certainly enhanced my life.
We are a community of seniors united and have become a bonus family to each other. The staff is amazing and do their best to accommodate us in whatever way possible.
I want to thank Camden County and the Borough of Lindenwold for making this possible for us.
Upcoming schedules: I will be doing presentations in several places.
Thanks Paul. You are such a blessing to us and on behalf of our other seniors, we appreciate you.
