Be Careful About Judging Others! 4-30-25

Some people are judging others because of what they see, while others are judging others because of their ungodly actions. Then some denominational churches judge others because they don’t have the same doctrinal beliefs. Only God knows each person’s heart.

Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike.

Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.  He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks (Romans 14:4-6).

This is another scripture that confirms there are two judgements – one for the born again believers to give account of their works (assignment-ministry, service, gifts). Judgment seat of Christ for those who are born again: So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

Therefore, let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way. (Romans 14:12-13).

The righteous and the wicked will not stand at the same judgment.

The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, or stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord. The ungodly are not so but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous (Psalm 1:1-2, 4-5).

The great white throne judgment for the wicked. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:13-15)

Wheat and the Tares- The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.” Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them but gather the wheat into my barn (Matthew 13:28-30).

Paul wrote to the church at Corinth about their conduct, not the heart: A brother who professed to be saved was having sex with his father’s wife; the church knew about it but refused to do anything.

Paul sent a strong word for them to confront the person, and if he chose not to change to throw him out of the church and so the devil beat him and hopefully he would come to his senses. Paul also wrote in the same chapter that Christians should not even associates with those who were known to be doing ungodly things (1 Corinthians, chapter 5).

Finally, make sure you take the plank out of you own eye before taking the splinter out of someone else’s eye (Matthew 7:1). Bottom line let’s stop judging less and less until we’re no longer judging, and love more and more until we are matured in it.
