Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer (1 Timothy 4:3).

I like the original text better (King James Version) when it comes to this scripture. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth (1 Timothy 4:3).
There are so many things on the market that are supposed to make people healthy. Actually, they are so numerous that it is difficult to know which to choose from. One thing it will do is cause your pockets to be empty. I hear of vegetarians, vegans, and holistic health, and so many others; yet when it comes to these people being healthier, is there a difference?
I am not trying to influence anyone and tell them that one is not healthier. Whatever a person chooses to eat is their business. What I am saying is no one has the right to tell others to abstain from certain foods unless it is damaging their bodies. It was someone in the medical field the Lord used to help me change my eating habits, which was to abstain from foods that would cause bigger health problems.
I was never advised to eat all vegetables and no meat; they never told me to go vegan, or the holistic way.
The advice was to cut out all those sugars; they are a big factor when it comes to cancer. The simple sugar low glycemic diet was excellent. I did so well with it that I cheated on the weekends or modified it whenever I went out during the week.
When it come to abstaining from meats, one must understand the difference in the Old Testament (old covenant) and the New Testament (new and better covenant).
The old was done away with when the new came- The purpose of the dietary laws was to physically show the ungodly nations and the Israelites (God’s chosen people) that they were different (Deuteronomy 18:9-14).
The Israelites did not have the Holy Spirit because Jesus who was the shadow of things to come had not physically came; lived, died, and raised from the dead. Therefore, they had to be different physically, whereas we are under the new and better covenant; the Holy Spirit lives in us and we are different because Jesus shines through us (Matthew 5:13-16).
Under the new and better covenant, there are no dietary restraints except for health reasons. The reason I say that is, if someone has high pretention, it would be dangerous to eat certain food and especially meats like pork.
When anyone tells you to abstain from what God has made clean, don’t receive it; stand on the Word of God. Who would you rather believe, a person or God? Let God be true and every man [woman] a liar (Romans 3:4).
Ps- Some say going back to Eden. Let me say this, from the time Adam fell (sinned), that changed. However, in the eternal realm everything will e perfect again.
