The initial transformation (new birth) was done by God alone. You may say this “I responded to the call by faith” You responded because God put the faith in you to respond. The Word of God says- We can do nothing without Christ (John 15:5). The initial transformation means God placed us into permanent holiness/righteousness through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

I beseech [urge] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2).

That’s when we understand that there is more than one perspective; God’s which is one hundred percent clear and man’s which is clouded.

The ongoing transformation is what God requires from each of His children; this mean to practice or conduct ourselves in a way that pleases the Lord. It is a lifelong process of spiritual growth that God expects from each of us.

This transformation is about our fleshy bodies, not the spirit, because it is the flesh that needs to be transformed; not our spirit, because our spirit is new and perfect.

In looking at perspectives, we need a new mindset to differentiate between ours God’s. Remember that once we have the Spirit of God living in us, we are to think and act like spiritual people.

We should joyfully accept our Father's perspective; so we can know Him intimately. The more we know our Father, the more we will love and obey HIM.
