Except the Lord Builds the House 8-5-25

I believe according to the Word of God that many ministries are falling apart because they did not build on the foundation of Christ. This is what the Bible says:
Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it (Psalm 127:1a). Notice that I didn’t say it was my opinion, because opinions don’t mean a thing- definition a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. My belief is based on BIBLICAL FACTS.

This is what Jesus said:
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents, the floodwaters rise, and the winds beat against that house; it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the wind beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash (Matthew 7:24-27).
Examples of people who did not build on the foundation of the apostles, prophets and Christ being the chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:10) - Families started churches; a group of people founded churches. If there was an apostle and prophet among these groups, that would be proper.
This does not mean that you are not saved. For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9), but all your work/labor will be in vain. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).
Rewards are the work we do, our assignment, gifts, ministry, service. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work (Revelation 22:12).
On the other hand, there are huge ministries that seem as though they are prospering, yet that does not mean it was established on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Some of these ministries remind me of the pharisees; they are puffed up with pride, preaching prosperity, but they are the ones who are rich.
They are causing people to suffer loss because of lack of knowledge of the Word, and some have turned away from the church. These leaders are manipulating people and preying (using their ignorance to their advantage. Just because some of certain people are doing these wicked acts, it does not mean they are not saved, but they will not receive rewards in heaven. Bottom line is this, they did not let the Lord build the house; they built their own domain.
God made us a family to edify, encourage, and build each other up with our gifts so He may be glorified! How do you think your natural parents would feel if you and your siblings were not loving and helping each other with your different abilities? God made us all unique to be a blessing to each other and to be a blessing to Him.
