History Discovered! 2-6-25

Betty A. Burnett

I switched messages because of a situation that surfaced yesterday. This is amazing, Praise the Lord! After posting my message about the “Two Sisters Reunited after Being Separated for Many Years” I received a messenger from a friend that knew my Aunt Hattie; she remembered Aunt Hattie’s daughter and her granddaughter.

This is why I am overjoyed that my messages are Spirit led. Even when I am writing about something that someone asks questions about, or if they hear something that does not sit well with them. I am known to check it out, it’s my passion; I love to dig into the Word of God. I certainly want people to know the truth, which includes knowing your history.

If I had not written some history about my family ancestry that the Lord ordained for me to obtain information about in the nineteen nineties, my family would not be knowledgeable of certain descendants of ours, nor what they went through.

The message that I received yesterday was mind boggling! I was so blessed to know that God had ordained the message about my family to be written, and it was encouraging. My friend and I went back and forth texting each other, and she agreed for me to include her in the message today.

Sandra’s grandmother sister was my Aunt Hattie’ sister-in law.

She recognized my aunt’s photo; she knew that her daughter was a beautician, Sandra knew where they lived and she asked where my aunt’s granddaughter was. Many people complain about Facebook, but I have been on Facebook since 2009, and some things are exceptionally good, people ask for prayer, some give praise reports, and so on. Also, people find their long lost friends and family through Facebook.

And look what happened to Sandra and me yesterday. History was discovered; we have a family connection. Sandra and I knew each other most of our lives but we never about our family connection.

I encourage each of the readers to know as much as you can about your history. It will leave a lasting impression on you. When we think about the blood, sweat and tears that many of our ancestors suffered through to make life better for us, we should be grateful.

Again, I was tremendously blessed to know about a new family connection; such a “Bonus” Sandra and I knew each other most of our lives but we never about our family connection.  The truth is, all of us are kin one way or another; Adam was the father of the human race (Genesis 5:1). And we came from one man’s blood.

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope [feel their way toward Him] for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;  for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’(Acts 17:26-28)

And our roots are Africa the Motherland.

Tomorrow, Lord willing I will share about “The Survival Kit and Who Invented it”
