A Trip that Shall Never be Forgotten

I have been on many trips, out of the country, on airplanes, ships (cruises), traveled by automobiles, trains, and buses throughout this country. All of my travels have been quite interesting, but the trip to Greensboro was the trip of all trips. Although I had a traumatic experience, some amazing things took place. On one of the messages pertaining to my “Whereabouts,” I shared about my daily walks at Walmart, and the few days that I went to the YMCA.

Praise report- I never gained weight, even though I cheated; was not on my regular diet most of the time. That was to be expected since part of the travels was planned to include my vacation. How could I not cheat? The truth is, sometimes I didn’t eat. The exercises helped me to stay in balance. I did some form of exercise thirteen days out of the sixteen days during my trip.

The Lord also allowed me to run into a few people I had not seen in years; some at the YMCA. However, this particular time I saw someone at Walmart who was a member of a church I had been a member of. We went through a small group “Freedom” class together. It was such a delight to see her again.

There were people I didn’t see, but the Lord was and still is in charge of my life, and whatever His will is, I accept it. I am grateful for the people the Lord allowed me to see.

That is the end of the Greensboro story; now to the next chapter of my life.

Although at times it may be difficult. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:12-14).

Until my Father calls me home, I am going to keep moving forward, in Jesus name.

Grace and Peace!
