I asked different people at Lindenwold Senior Center to share what a difference their lives are and how being there has enhanced their lives. I am grateful to each of them who are willing to share the increased blessing for being actively involved with other seniors, along with all the activities that to motivate them to continue being part of such a wonderful environment.

Judi’s experience
On my first day attending the program I was nervous and anxious about joining a new group. I worried if the people would welcome me, would I like the program and participants etc. I was picked up promptly and the first one on the bus. Jen, the driver greeted me warmly and introduced herself. As we made our way to pick up other participants Jen introduced me to each person as they boarded the van. The ride to the center was filled with group conversation and laughter.
Once we arrived at the center one of the participants walked around with me introducing me to all of the other participants. Everyone was enjoying the breakfast provided and coffee. Each person I met was warm and made me feel welcomed.
I have actively participated since August 2025 and enjoyed every minute of it. There is always an activity scheduled and a delicious lunch is provided. Activities have included movies, shopping, line dancing, chair yoga, and exercise just to mention a few.
The word that comes to mind when I think about the Center is Fellowship. It provides me with a community of people who care for and comfort each other. Finally, before joining, I was lonely and isolated. Since joining I find my life is filled with positive interaction and companionship.
