I was so busy traveling to three shore points (Cape May, Wildwood and Sea Isle City) that it slipped my memory about posting pictures from the event in Atlantic City which was the day after the other trip.

It was a great deal going on that week- Love Park in Philly, the three shore points for the NJ Run for the Fallen. We came back home Thursday evening and prepared for the trip to Atlantic City the next morning.

We were blessed to ride on a limousine bus to the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City for a Healthy Aging Summit: Opioid Safety and Alternatives, and FYI it was not to gamble. I have written before that I love to go to Atlantic City, there are so many things to do, other than gambling.

The Summit was the first and the information provided by different speakers about the high rate of opioid use among seniors in the state of New Jersey was an eye opener, and the fitness husband wife team who were absolutely amazing. They had most of the seniors on their feet, including me. The couple was so motivated that it was difficult not to move to the beat. We had a continental breakfast and a scrumptious lunch.

Then there was some free time to do whatever people desired to do, including going to the casino.

A few of us went to the mariner across thee street from the Golden Nugget.

The trip was one that made us seniors feel alive and well and motivated to keep it moving.
