A few years ago, messages were written and posted weekly to challenge the readers [Mid-Week Challenge]. The challenges this time is for the readers to look in the mirror and see themselves, and what needs to be changed according to the Word of God.
Yesterday, while continuing to work on the message for today, there was one text message after the other, about some believing that water baptism brings salvation. From the text message yesterday, and what I had experienced with others about water salvation bringing salvation – incorporated will be answers to my sister in Christ’s questions. And what was discussed between her and others.
These challenges are to help us have an awareness of the scriptures and not just take what someone says for face value- They are to help us to have a conviction about some the erroneous things that we have accepted as truth and be serious about our relationship with the Lord.
While writing yesterday, these topics came to my mind (the Spirit gave them to me): “Who is the Matchmaker?” and “Living Epistles” (letters)- How are others reading you?
During the next few days, below are other topics:
Can water baptism bring salvation?
Who was, is or will be your “Matchmaker?”
We are living epistles (letters) how do others read you?
Latter days- Perilous Times -Men will be Lovers of themselves (Eddie Long) pimping the Gospel
False teaching -Abstaining from certain Foods- This message and the upcoming ones are to challenge all those who profess to be born again. This includes leaders who are teaching erroneously and abusing the Gospel of Jesus for their personal gain.
Manipulating -Abusing so called titles -what Jesus said about titles
Pedestals –
Are Christians still sinners?
Can Christians fall short of God’s glory?
There are at least two reasons why many people do not understand the meaning of some scriptures. They are not studying (that’s work)- 2 Timothy 2:15) or they are leaning to their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
