On Monday, July 21st, a friend and I were blessed to attend our State representative Congressman Don Norcross 8th ANNUAL CONSTITUENT SERVICES FAIR at Camden County College, which included more than 100 local, state and federal resources and programs. Since politics is not a major interest of mine, I asked my niece, who is politics, if this fair would be helpful for me, and she encouraged me to go.
At the apartment complex where I live, many resources are brought to us. During the breakout sessions my friend and I went to the auditorium the Medicare and healthcare services workshop. Then, in walks Congressman Donald Norcross, tall slender man that I thought was heavier according the postcard that came to me in the mail. My friend said Congressman Norcross lost a lot of weight be had been really sick.

After a student from the college introduced him, he shared how his mother was once a student at Camden County College and he also went to that college. Donald Norcross also told how he had been really and he was hospitalized for five weeks, he went to say how he thought he was not going to make it. The congressman also thanked the people for their prayers; the reception of applause was amazing!
I have been told that there are many negative comments made on Facebook about the congressman and his illegal dealings. Some I actually read and heard on the news. As I started with the message, it was said that I am not that interested in politics. However, I recall listening to the accusations against him and a few others.
This is the most important part of the message today. After hearing Donald Norcross tell his story about being a patient in the hospital for five weeks gave him time to think things over, and a plan was in the making.
This is what I gathered from being at that meeting. If the TRUTH were to be told, all of us had a dirty past, and those who are still judging anyone about their past, they are still dirty themselves. Judge not that you are not judged.
For what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck [splinter] in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck [splinter] from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?” Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:1-5)
Don’t look down on others by continuing to say ugly things about, especially when their lives have changed. If you knew my past, you certainly would say that God has done a new thing in me (Salvation). But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me (1 Corinthians 15:10).
I believe the Lord allowed Donald Norcross to be almost at the point of death, to get his attention, so His purpose could be fulfilled in his life. I believe Donald Norcross is doing everything within his power and with the help of the Lord to make life better for those he represents in New Jersey, and for others in the United States.
I do what the Word of God tells me to do: Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior (1 Timothy 2:1-3).
Grateful for those in power who serve us!
