Last week I shared about the blood of Jesus and how it was for salvation; the foreshadowing in the Old Testament until the revealing of Jesus Christ in the Gospels.
The subject about the blood was written and posted because some people say and think that the blood of Jesus is for protection. The blood of Jesus cleanses/removes our sins. Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins (James 5:20).
Notice that the Word of God says we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus; it never said we are covered by the His blood. Cover means to protect; cleanse means to remove.
And by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross (Ephesians 1:7). How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14) [the Word says cleanse, not protect].
Jesus Christ took care of our sin, and the angels guard us, protect us, and they minister to us physically.
