The Compromising Church 9-1-26

Sin on the Rise!

This is a short series of messages- I am not writing to expose any particular religions or denomination; this is to expose the devil’s lies.

One of the ways confirmation came was through the pastor a couple of days ago. Some other members and I talked about the blessing we received from the pastor’s message; we discussed how the Word of God is diluted (watered down) and the church is on a spiritual decline.

As another person and I left the church and were going across the parking lot toward my truck, I told her that before going to church I had started a message about the compromising church and how homosexuality is accepted in many churches; that some churches are even allowing them to be pastors and having other leadership roles in ministry. That conversation helped me to move forward with the message.

Please understand this, I am not talking about worldly or unsaved people, I am talking about people who profess to be born again.

Some people use all kinds of reasons to look over or change what Romans, chapter one says. God NEVER sanctioned homosexuality. It has been said that God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. How in the world can two of the same kind remultiplying replenish the earth (Genesis1:28a).   

I have been commissioned by God to correct and warn; somebody is going to be convinced and turn from the abominable sin of homosexuality. Until the Lord takes me home, to be with Him, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD (Psalm 118:7).

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,  nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.  

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God ( 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon (Leviticus 20:13)

The worse thing to do is to agree with that sin because God will not hold that person guiltless who goes along with a Christian who is having sex with someone of the same sex.

AI- In the 1950s, courts in the United States largely viewed homosexuality as a criminal act and a mental illness, reflecting societal prejudices of the time. Criminalization — Homosexuality was criminalized in many states, leading to arrests and convictions. That was challenged and eventually it became acceptable.

If the courts considered homosexuality as a criminal act, why are we switching up like they did when the Word of God clearly states how God feels about those who go against His nature.
