Praying the Correct Way Brings Good Results
I hear people saying that they need to physically do specific things when demonic activity rises and continue to increase. I had a conversation with someone recently and was asked a question as far as how to pray or what method is used. Well, I gave them the answer according to the Word of God.
Jesus was a prime example of not being the presence of someone and healing resulted. This does not mean that Jesus didn’t lay hands on the sick and they recovered. There are several ways to pray and get results. But I don’t recall reading about Jesus walking halls and laying His hands on windows and doors.
He spoke to the waves and the wind and they ceased; everything became calm. Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So, the men marveled, saying; “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” (Matthew 8:23-27).
Remember this; death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21); this particular emphasis means the power that goes forth from our mouths and how it produces results.
Example:
God spoke and everything came into being (Genesis, chapter 1). This means we can pray to the Lord God and things happen without using any other methods. My prayer partners are in North Carolina and we are on the prayer line around five am four days a week.
Another prayer warrior and I on the phone once a week. To me, that’s should answer any question about laying hands on objects. I don’t lay hands on my door or anything else in my apartment, but every demonic spirit is commanded to leave in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
I admit that in the 1980’s I was involved in a Christian denomination that did things contrary to the Word of God. Once I learned better, things were done differently. Once I learned better, things were done differently.
I realize that the Lord allowed me to be in certain churches over the many years to experience situations and to search for my self to see if what was being said and done was in line with the Word of God.
I am a Jesus follower; not a person follower! If it’s not done God’s way, it doesn’t work. On that note many people are praying foolish and unscriptural prayers and they wonder why there are no results. Please don’t be so super religious!
