The Spiritual Impact of Ignoring God’s Call in Our Lives 5-15-26

Rulership is Determined According to Rewards. If I hear something erroneously quoted and misunderstood, it opens the door of opportunity to share the truth from God’s Word.

I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality.

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure (1 Timothy 5:21-22). Consequences -get puffed up with pride (1 Timothy 3:1-8).

Many people are licensed and ordained into ministry that have not been ordained by the Lord.

My experience- I knew my call years before the church licensed me into ministry and two years later the association ordained me into ministry as evangelist at my request, not as reverend. Not only did I understand my call after a few years, but it was also recognized by others, even three of my former pastors.

One pastor asked the association of churches that our church was part of to license me as evangelist. When the moderator took the request before the board, they shot it down. It was apparent that did not understand the five ministry offices – they only used reverend (pitiful).

Therefore, I moved on as the Spirit guided me. For years I would say to others that it was not necessary for me to be licensed and ordained. However, the Lord told me to go forward with it because there were certain places and even ministries that would not accept the call unless there was some documentation. So, I obeyed, ad the Lord orchestrated circumstances after being licensed to get ordained which caused me to have a ministerial position in the church as Youth minister.

I am not being boastful and bragging on myself; my boast is in the Lord. I remember what Paul said:  Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1). And: Therefore, be imitators of God as dear children(Ephesians 5:1).  I can use those verses because they line up with my life.

But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:10a). To those who don’t receive from me, I say this: “You haven’t been saved for forty four years and what kind of spiritual experience do you have along with spending quality time with the Lord year after year?”

Being out of the will of God by not functioning in what He’s called us to do, has nothing to do with a saved person. Once someone is saved, that is never jeopardized; but not fulfilling God’s purpose causes rewards to be lost.

Every child of God has ministry to serve in some capacity. However, we must not jump ahead of ourselves (Romans 12:7).

Remember this saints, these warnings are to help you in your walk with Christ; to help you to do a self examination and make sure you’re doing for Christ will last because that statement can be dangerous.

Truly stated is: Only what Christ tells you to do will last; otherwise, your own works or what someone else told you to do will be burned- no rewards (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

Additionally,  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:22-23). This represents the Judgment Seat of Christ when born again believers will either lose or gain rewards. Jesus never knew their works because that’s not what they were called to do.

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
