The Ultimate Price Was Paid to Make a Broken People Whole

Updated: Aug 15

The Saints are Made Completely Whole Because Of Jesus Christ (Part 2) 8-15-24

In continuing with the second part of the message from yesterday, there are many scriptures to prove that Jesus came to make those who become the children of God, completely whole.

Jesus healed ten people with leprosy -And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,  and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was  a Samaritan.

So, Jesus answered and said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner? And He said unto him, Arise, go your way: your faith hath made you whole (Luke 17:19).

Their faith made them whole, therefore whatever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23b). But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

A Lame Man Healed

Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;  who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms [giving charity to the poor].

And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”  So, he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

So, he, leaping up, stood, and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.  And all the people saw him walking and praising God.  Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him (Acts 3:1-10).

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).

What about the gifts of healing? And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:28).

I am a living witness that my body has been healed many times- supernaturally, medically,  but all through God's divine intervention. Are you going to believe the Word of God, or what someone says?

And so, He did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief (Matthew 13:58). Are you going to continue living a defeated life because of your unbelief?
