This has been questionable among many in the body of Christ. Today, I am sharing scriptures that lets us know if we are eternally secure, and to understand what other scriptures say that seem to be contradictory.
The reason there is such a misunderstanding is because most Christians are only looking at the Word of God from their perspective. To be perfectly honest, during most of my born again (new life) I was the same way. It was about seven years ago that my teacher received the illumination from the Spirit of God pertaining the two perspectives (God’s and ours).
We have been learning more deeply and getting the proper understanding for approximately three years about the perspectives from the book of Romans. This has been an intense study and the more we see from God’s perspective the more clearly we see how so many people in the body of Christ are seeing from their perspective only. This means they are thinking carnally like a natural person who is not saved; yet they are saved.
Remember this, there is God’s perspective which is clear (perfect) and our perspective is clouded. Once we are saved we have the Spirit of God living in us and we must grow to see things from God’s perspective because we are now spiritual people; it takes time.
Since God is Spirit and we are now spiritual people the only way to grow into maturity is to see as God sees. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2). This means to see things the way our Father sees them. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Who is this awesome God? He is everlasting (eternal); there is no beginning or end with God. He is not confined to time or space; therefore, everything is already finished, done and complete. From that, the ones who are saved, have always belonged to God.
Look at this and prayerfully you will understand what is written. Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8), then it makes since that we were also in relationship with God Almighty before the foundation of the world.
This is confirmation: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5).
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:29-30).
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:3-6).
Now that you know the truth, you are responsible for walking worthy of your calling (Ephesians 4:1), which means to conduct yourselves in a manner that pleases the Lord.
