The powerful and dynamic role of the Holy Spirit should be evidenced in the life of all born again believers. Although some do not understand, He still is in their life because He lives in them.

Jesus tells His disciples about the coming of the Holy Spirit –

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.  And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more ……   (John 16:7-11).

Since the Spirit of God is eternal, He has always been and He will always be- However, the awesome manifestations of Him could not come until Jesus left (died and rose from the dead). Remember this, He was active in Jesus life; in fact, Jesus had the Spirit without measure (no limitations). For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure (John 3:34).

Spirit of Truth our Guide- However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come (John 16:13).

Holy Spirit Teacher/Helper –   But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. One must read and study for themselves for the Spirit to bring thins to their remembrance (2 Timothy 2:15).

Comforter – But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeded from the Father, he shall testify of Me (John 15:26).

Powerful God is all powerful- Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! (Romans 11:33).

Jesus has all power- Everything held together by Him-  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or [e]principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have preeminence (Colossians 1:117).

The Holy Spirit is the powerful One- Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

Until one grows to understand the fullness of the Godhead, they do not understand their walk with the Lord. How do they learn the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth? They must have proper training; many people who are training others need to be trained themselves.

So many people think the Holy Spirit is dynamic and fiery and causes one’s emotions to run high; that is not true. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman; He is about order.  For God is not the author of ]confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints (1 Corinthians 14:33). Let all things be done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).

There are so many erroneous beliefs, but if we study and discern the Holy Spirit will prompt us when something is not correct.
