Unforgettable Moments from Our Day of Celebration on December 23 2025

When I say it was a celebration, it was a celebration indeed! The management of our apartment complex  gave the tenants a Christmas party yesterday, which is managed by VOA.

They decided to adopt the seniors and bless each of us who signed up with six gifts that we needed or desired. VOA didn’t miss a beat; All of us received six gifts of our choosing, and VOA (Volunteers of America) didn’t miss a beat.

Some of the gifts were coffee makers, microwave, TV, cookware and so much more of which I was not aware. My blessings: pajamas, vest, jacket, comforter set, sheets, blanket and two gifts cards. The blessings were overwhelming and some of us were acting like children with new toys.

The meal was also delicious and we were served by management, who has been a blessing to us and we are grateful for the staff and VOA for providing us with a safe environment to help us feel comfortable and cared for.

Thanks to each of you for whatever acts of love, and caring hearts that were extended to us. Although we know that the Lord is the Source of all blessings, we also know that He uses people to bless us. I thank the Lord for every blessing He bestowed on me; I am extremely grateful that He is Jehovah Jireh, my Provider.
