And There is Nothing New Under the Sun 11-10-25

When I retired for the night on Saturday, after writing Sunday’s message
“Who do You Trust”
the Spirit brought back to my remembrance some of the wicked kings in the Old Testament.
I started searching on my phone and many names of wicked kings came up. Early Sunday morning I awakened and looked at the clock and it was 3:33. I love that scripture in Jeremiah and have used it for years; it has been very meaningful.

I am not one who constantly put emphasis on what specific numbers means, however, this verse in Jeremiah 3:33 has stood out over thee years. From that, I believe the Lord wants to tell me something.
Example: On February 8, 2009, I woke up at 3:33am, and immediately afterwards the phone rang. It was my niece calling and saying that my sister’s condition had rapidly declined. I was able to get a train to Philadelphia around 9am.
While waiting at the Amtrak station, my nephew was constantly keeping me updated. THEN, he called and said she was gone. I lost IT! That was the most horrible ten hour ride I had ever experienced in the many years of traveling on the train

Also, there are times that the Lord uses other ways of speaking to me, either the still small voice, through dreams and visions; it comes with the call. Basically, He is letting me know something in advance and usually the first thing that I do is start praying. The number one way the Lord speaks to any of us is through His Word.
To the point for today’s message. When I saw the time on the clock, I just knew that the Spirit was prompting me to search for information about some wicked kings for the readers who may not be aware that there is nothing new under the sun.

He was going to show me what to write; that’s the reason the scripture came to me- Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know (Jeremiah 3:33).
Although I knew to write about some kings, what I didn’t know was what Solomon meant when he wrote
“And there is no new thing under the sun”
specifically when it came to the second part of the verse: “that which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).
This is what I felt the second part of the verse meant:
“History repeats itself; everything comes back full circle; only as time moves forward things gets worse.”
Ultimately it was what the Spirit revealed to me; without the Lord being involved, I can do nothing.
I have quoted the scripture repeatedly, but the part about history repeating itself never occurred to me. Even though I know that there is nothing new under the sun; the Spirit wanted me to connect this with the wicked kings and what we are experiencing today.
I put strong emphasis on reading what is before and what is after the verses to understand the full context, yet when it came to that scripture half the verse was quoted.
That was a learning lesson for me. I thank God that I when I called to Him, my answer came.
In a couple of days, there will be a list of some of the most wicked kings in the Bible and what they did. PRAY, saints of the MOST High GOD! PRAY!
