Be Real! God Sees Everything, He Even Sees in the Dark

True Worship

Friday night, the teachers from Burnett Ministries and I were discussing how we are to conduct ourselves. Although we are not perfect, our lives behind closed doors  should be lived the same way openly. In other words, we as Christians should live one way openly and another way secretly.

This morning when I got up, “Worship” was in my spirit. I had no idea it was connected with our Friday night discussion. So, I started searching for scriptures that had Worship in them.

Psalm 29:2 - Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalm 95:6 - O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

This is the verse that stood out the most. John 4:23 –

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seek such to worship him. I also searched the Greek meaning, and truth means not to conceal, no falsehood. One of the meanings of spirit means someone who lives uprightly.

I also did further research to see if some comments were in conjunction with what I had looked at the word search meaning. These comments are excerpts from two writers.

To worship in truth is to present to Him (God), a heart that is pure and free of anything that is unpleasing in His presence. Do the same thing in secret that is being done openly;

My words: God is Omnipresent and sees everything, even what is done in the dark (Psalm 139:6-8).

My brothers and sisters, I’ll sum it up like this, “God wants somebody that’s real” My late mother Catherine Patrick Wells is still remembered by many as Mother Wells who blessed countless people when sang that song.

God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in true!

Have an abundantly blessed Sunday.
