Can't ask for anything better!

All My Life You Have Been Faithful

Yesterday, I was not sure what song to write about for the message today. Some of you may know that I usually attend two churches on Sunday; one service is at 9AM, and the other is at 11AM. The first service does praise and worship, whereas the other church songs are mainly traditional hymns.

I love both services; the music and the messages, and it is a blessing to get my heart’s desire from the too churches, around the corner from each other. I said all that to say this, the same song was sung at both churches, therefore, I felt the Spirit was speaking to me about writing excerpts from “All My Life You Have Been Faithful”

I love You Lord – My strength, my rock, my fortress ….(Psalm 18)

Oh, Your mercies never fail me – They are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23)

I’ve been held in Your hands. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands (Isaiah 49:16)

From the moment I wake until I lay my head

Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations (Psalm 89:1)

All my life You have been faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9). All my life You have been so good (Psalm 100:5).

With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God (Psalm 89:1).

I love Your voice. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me (John 10:27).

You have led me through the fire. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2).

In the darkest night (I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are close like no other. I’ve known You as a Father I have known You as a friend (John 15:15).

I have lived in the goodness of God

‘Cause Your goodness is running after me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life (Psalm 23:6)

With my life laid down, I am surrendered now, I give You everything If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me (Matthew 16:24).

Your goodness is running, it keeps running after me.

Praise the Lord for faithfulness to us. As we continue into 2024, let’s be thankful for what the Lord has done, what He is doing, and what He’s going to do.
