· Jesus was moved with compassion - But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were [a]weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd (Matthew 9:36). And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick. (Matthew 14:14). Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed” (Mark 1:41).
· Why was Jesus moved with compassion? For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
A few days ago, one of the seniors had a situation going on and after it was shared, another minister and I prayed two kinds of prayers. I prayed a specific prayer for the lady, and another prayer was prayed anyone who had physical challenges. The people were stretching out their hands during the prayer; meaning they were in agreement, which showed how much they cared and their compassionate hearts were exemplary of LOVE in action. In addition to the prayers another person had a card for everyone to sign as another extension of LOVE!
Many of you know in my writing, even if it’s about what is going on in the community, and so on, somehow you will see something that is connected to the Bible. This is what was revealed to me in conjunction with Jesus being moved by compassion; He put action to it.

1 Corinthians 12:14-27 tells how each part of the body has a different function, but one function is not better than the other. We have a need for every part of our physical bodies to be healthy. And it’s the same way spiritually. One part cannot tell the other part that I have no need for you. For in fact the body is not one member but many……
But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you;” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
Every part of the body is absolutely necessary- My ministry, the staff members are an attorney, who is vice president, administrator who has experience in handling the finances and taking care of the books, a secretary, teacher and his helper, intercessory prayer warriors. Each has a different function, but each is absolutely necessary.
Billy Graham, the famous evangelist had a large staff that functioned with different capacities, he acknowledged that his ministry would not have been successful, it were not for all those involved.
After processing the experience with the lady and how each person played a major role with caring hearts and compassion, I saw how the Lord had orchestrated circumstances.
Although we may not see or understand until it’s over, the most important element in this message is see how God moves by His Spirit when we yield to Him, therefore He gets all thee glory, honor, and praise.

In closing, I thank the Lord for this season and appointed time in my life to be with such a wonderful group of seniors who are a blessing to me and certainly we are a blessing to each other.
