HE is Risen!

Love Expressed in the Rarest Form

On this last day of the month and “Resurrection” Day, we celebrate our new life (2 Corinthians 5:17) through Jesus Christ, our risen Savior.

Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness before Jesus’ public ministry began, and He didn’t win. After the temptation, angels ministered to Jesus (Mathew 4:1-11). Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him (verse 11). Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time (Luke 4:13); his final blow was using others to take Jesus to the cross.

Before going further with this message, I was to go back to the first Adam who was the reason that Jesus Christ, the last Adam suffered, died, and rose for us to have eternal life. I say it like this “Jesus cleaned up what Adam messed up”

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and so it is written, the first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 45).

Adam

So, he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life (Genesis 3:24). God Loved Adam and Eve so much that He drove them out of Eden to protect them from eating of the tree of life. For if they had eaten the fruit from that tree, they would have been miserable throughout eternity. That’s LOVE!

Jesus’ Love is expressed by way of the cross

When Jesus was been taken away by the soldiers, He could have asked His Father and He would have sent Him twelve legions of angels. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? (Matthew 26:53). He went to the cross, where He was hung, suffered the most horrible kind of death (crucifixion), died and He rose from the dead to give us new life.  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Angels at Jesus’ tomb

Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.  And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it.  His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.  And the guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men.

But the angel answered and said to the women, do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you (Matthew 28:1-7).

He has Risen; Jesus Christ is alive forevermore, and because He lives, we can face all our tomorrows.

Blessed “Resurrection”
