The Greatest Memorial Day Ever! Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends (John 15:13).

Since this the day that I attend church service, the day that I believe Jesus rose from the dead; (Sunday- first day of the week) according to the Roman calendar. I felt it would be appropriate to honor the most memorable time in History.

Jesus was in the military, warring against the devil and his demons. This was a most unique kind of war, like none of the others in the history of mankind. The demons used people throughout His ministry to set traps to destroy Him, but Jesus’s strategic plan was greater than His enemies.

He came on foreign soil to win the war so we could be set free. Unlike the wars of the world system when the soldier dies, he or she is done; their lives ended. But Jesus got up and now He shows (trains) us for warfare (Ephesians 6:10-18), and because of what Jesus did we are more conquerors through Him (Jesus Christ) who loved us and gave His life for us (Romans 8:37).

Let’s always remember the greatest moment in history and let’s always celebrate what Jesus Christ did for us!

Forever grateful that my freedom in Christ will be always remembered. Thank You, Jesus for saving my soul; thank You Jesus for making me whole. Thank You Jesus that I understand who I am in You. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:32, 36)
