Last week my plan was to go to Boscov’s and get some freebies, not knowing all the details. I played the scavenger hunt; it was like a game; I got a lot of steps in. Boscov’s is my favorite store in the north because they have a line of petites that are necessary for short me. My favorite southern store is Belk; they carry an excellent line of petite clothes.

When I arrived at Boscov’s I went to where the free pansies were on the lower level, not realizing there was more involved. I was told that every station was required to go to and the card had to be marked for that particular station.
The first station was the men’s department on the upper level and a card and pencil was given to mark off each station.
Off I went back to the lower level candy counter, got a sample of chocolate mint fudge which was delicious.
Back up to the upper level to the women’s department, card was checked off and received petunia package.

Down to the lower level again; this time to the girl’s department where a photo was taken for the one hundred dollar gift card; finally, I went to the pansy table a picked a beautiful purple pansy.

This was well worth my time and effort. Most importantly my moving challenged with approximately five thousand steps.
What an enjoyable time to “kill two birds with one stone” Another way of enjoying life and trying to stay physically fit despite bodily afflictions!
