A few days ago, I saw something pop up on my phone that was quite disturbing. I don’t plan to post messages about it until next week. For the next two days, I will share with you what is going on in the church when it comes to mass deception.
Many people are falling prey to the devil’s tricks and schemes because they don’t have enough knowledge and understanding which can stem from lack of or improper teaching. Some just reject the truth for various reasons.
My people are destroyed [suffer loss] for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, (Hosea 4:6).
For instance, they were taught erroneously and will say “Ain’t no need to change now” While others are not open to the truth; it could be because of their loyalty to a leader. First of all, our loyalty should always be to the Almighty God; He should have first place in all of our lives. If people are more loyal to their leaders than God, they have put them on a pedestal and they have become their idol.
NO other gods- for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14).
The messages will be to correct, warn, and encourage the readers to be aware of what is true and what is false.
Caution: All people that are teaching false doctrine are not doing it deliberately. I believe it is because they don’t know for various reasons.
Example: they could have jumped ahead of themselves; not been trained properly. That’s why Romans 12:7 says to wait on your ministry. This does not mean that you don’t already have ministry, but development is necessary.
Although the Lord uses us at our level of maturity, we should be progressively growing to have good success (Joshua 1:8). You, therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:17-18).
Whatever is gone must be according to the Word of God; no deviation. The more mature one is, the more discerning he or she becomes.
Discernment comes from understanding the Word of God!
