Embracing Who I Am By The Grace of God 8-16-26

The Power of Grace in Our Lives

There is a specific grace for different areas of our lives.  As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God (1 Peter 4:10).

1)      Saving Grace - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

2)      Grace for the ability to serve (function) with our gifts- But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift (Ephesians 4:7).

3)      Grace to endure hardships - You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 2:1).

4)      Grace for my call as evangelist to fulfill my ministry-  I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.  But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist (2 Timothy 4:1-5).

5)      Grace to keep me humble- I'm really working on it!

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Finally – But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. it is by the grace of God that I am what I am- when I see somebody in a condition that is not as blessed as mine; my words are: :It is by the grace of God that I am what I am”(1 Corinthians 15:10).

When it comes to looking (judging) others wrongly, my words are: “It is by the grace of God that I am what I am”

I am so grateful to God my Father that amazing grace saved a wretch like me; He has kept me through seen and unseen dangers - God has given His angels charge over me (Psalm 91:11).

God’s grace has brought me this this far and His grace will lead me home.

In other words, it was the precious blood of Jesus that cleansed me from my sins how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?  And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance (Hebrews 9:14-15).

I also want to hear Jesus say: Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ (Matthew 25:21, 23).
