Generational Curses? 7-13-26

Who can cursed what God has blessed?

I hear so many people talk about generational curses when it comes to Christians and how they are passed from different generations. But does what they say line up with the Word of God?

The curse stated with Adam when he disobeyed God (Genesis). And it continued throughout the old Testament, and one scripture I was still using myself in Deuteronomy 28- about blessings and curses.

But the prophet Ezekiel wrote prophetically (futuristic) in chapter 18:20-22.  The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

 “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.  None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live.

This means personal accountability – “Every tub has to stand on its own bottom” In other words evryone has to give account to God for him or her self. So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12).
