Celebrate with Me! 9-27-24
Yesterday I had my first mammogram since I was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer in September 2024. I am so glad that I have had mammograms every year since the late 1980’s. Being that I was also diagnosed many years ago with fibrocystic disease of the breast. I had several surgeries to remove the cysts.
The medical doctors decided that I didn’t need to continue having surgical procedures, since all the cysts that they removed were benign. With me having multiple cysts in my breast, it was difficult for me to know if something foreign was there.
This is to encourage all my sistas that are forty years plus, please have a yearly mammogram. I believe because I was having an annual mammogram, which was the reason it was only stage one. It could have been much worse if I didn’t have it performed annually.
Let me tell you about myself and how this cancerous breast disease that I call a curse word. It was scary when I first discovered that the disease had invaded my body. But, I had much support from family members, friends, and my church family. The Lord used them in ways to help me in whatever capacity that was necessary. Most of all, I thank the Lord for all the prayers that were lifted up to the Lord on my behalf.
How am I walking in health and prospering? Even though I had about one month of physical limitations, I never stopped writing and posting messages. Victory has been mine ever since. It is as though nothing happened to me. Guess what? I posted a message on my blog, to email friends and on social media the morning of my procedure.
I stand on the Word of God for my healing, and that mountain had to move – believe it and receive it! (Mark 11:23-25).
Yesterday, prior to heading out for my mammogram appointment, my conversation with the Lord was: I’m believing for a good report (Philippians 4:6-8), but whatever happens, You are in full control, and whatever the outcome is this time, I accept it, because everything happens for a reason. It is to encourage others, increase their faith, and God gets glorified.
Again, everything happens for a reason to serve God’s purpose. Even if it seems bad, something good results from it. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28).
Like the testimony that came from me walking in victory; I never stopped doing things or going places. There were trips to New York, Philly, North Carolina, Atlantic City and many surrounding boroughs and townships. Some people are amazed at how I keep it moving! It’s GOD!!!
In addition to all the other good stuff, I am exercising regularly and keeping my weight down, as I press forward in Jesus' name.
Ps. I texted some people about my good report, they responded with praises, and one of my nieces replied with: “Praise God, He has more work for you to do!” I know that’s right- God is not finished with me yet.
At 4:58AM this morning Friday, September 27, a text was sent to me form my niece: As I was thinking of you now and the goodness and grace God has given to you, this scripture came to me concerning you: being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6, Amen
Sent to me September 20, 2024 - confirmation sent by two people. If you don't understand prophecy, this is it!
