God Said He was Robbed of Tithes and OFFERINGS 11-5-25

I am emphasizing this just in case someone tries to justify why they don’t give. God said the nation had robbed Him, not the people. Giving with the right attitude results in abundance of blessings.
Now that you have learned why it is important to tithe, offerings are also included too. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38).
When I lost almost everything twice, it was given away, not sold. I love to see others blessed and opportunities arise constantly for me to give to someone; and my ministry does the same thing. Even though the ministry is small to some (but not to God), there are ways the Lord reveals to us how to dispense His funds.
Everything belongs to Him! Also, I give tithes to my ministry because it takes money to spread the Word of God. Yet, offerings are given to the church I attend; since I am not a member, I’m not obligated to give tithes to them. God said the nation had robbed Him, not the people.
The Cheerful Giver
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
As it is written: He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. Now may He who supplies seed to the Sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God…….. who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:6-14).

And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So, He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had (Luke 21:1-4). The rich of this world (God’s people) have been charged to help those who don’t have (1 Timothy 6:17-19).
The prophet and the widow -not like what has been used in sermons to manipulate people to bless the man of God; I believe this was a test of her faith. The woman who gave her last. So, she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah- verses 15-16 (1 Kings 17:8-16).
Be careful not to fall in love of money syndrome. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10). A strong desire for material possessions and status symbols result in severe consequences.
Ananias and Sapphira at the beginning of the church age– they pledged to sell their property and give to the needs of the people, but they held something back and lied, and they died for lying to the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:1-10). God was using that as an example to warn us today.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:7-10).
Cheerful!
