Lift up Your Heads and Let the King of Glory Come in
Good morning!
Today, some people are experiencing something similar to what is going on in my life. So, for the next few days, I will post messages of encouragement for those whose hearts are aching due to some painful situation you are experiencing.
Even though this is a difficult time for me, it is so ironic that the Lord gave me a ministry, titled “Setting the Captives Free” (Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18), and here I am trying to work my way through a stormy situation. Yet, I still remember that despite what is going on in my own life, I must do whatever possible to minister to those who are downtrodden and broken-hearted. As I was pondering in my heart, this is what came to me.
As I was pondering in my heart, this is what came to me.
Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).
How can you, you, and I lift up our heads despite what we are going through? This is the answer: The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my strong tower (Psalm 18:1-2).
Therefore, we can look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
He gives peace that passes understanding (Philippians 4:7).

My brothers and sisters, our circumstances may be different, but all of us go through sorrows, sad times, but there is always hope, peace, encouragement and most of the Love of God that transcends beyond anything we are going through. I pray that you feel the love of God and others.
