Kimberly Shea’s Story
Hello, let me introduce myself.
My name is Kimberly Shea, and I attend Lindenwold Senior Center. I started going to the Senior Center when the reopened in August last year (2024). At the time I never imagined going to a Senior Center at my age.
Fresh Environment
After attending the center, I met new people who are now friends, and we even consider ourselves family, because when one of us is going through some challenges, everybody is concerned. We rally around the person to encourage them and they are prayed for.
Achieving Greater Heights
Tons of information has been provided, and one of the services that was presented to us dealt with housing issues that we may face, and education that is free or at a low cost for seniors citizens. So, I looked into it and will going back to further my education to receive a degree, in the 2026 spring semester.
Because of impaired hearing, I will be taking classes online; which is much easier for me, than sitting in a classroom. I am glad that people have a choice as to the option they will take.
There is so much that has been offered to us at Lindenwold Senior Center to enrich our lives and help to motivate us to continue moving forward and accomplish goals. We also love to share with others about all amenities offered to us.
Ambitious Senior
Kimberly is the “Butterfly” and one of the younger seniors of the group and she helps others with the many resources that she has been blessed with. I am grateful that Kimberly agreed to share one of her stories to encourage others to pursue their dreams. Regardless of age, it’s never too late to achieve your goal.
Congratulations Kimberly!
