Is Jesus the Reason for the Season or Is It Just a Holiday Celebration?

Holy Day or Holiday?
As Christians, will Jesus Christ be in included in festivities, shopping, family gathering and so on? My brothers and sisters, this word is to challenge all of us (me too). In the shopping for many gifts during the hustle and bustled, and wondering what to get those we desire to share gifts with, how much have we considered what the real reason for the season is? Are we spending more time being busy doing this that and the other, that Jesus is not on the forefront?
Making it plain and clear: There is a difference between holidays and holy days. The world (unsaved and saved) celebrate holidays such as the Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. But Holy Days are sacred and have a spiritual meaning. Even though the observance of Christmas is holiday, the world has mixed it with a holiday.
My personal conviction: I have not spent quality time communicating with our Father, and it is not a good feeling. This confession is not one of condemnation because There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1) which comes from the enemy.
It is a confession for healing. Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16). I told my prayer partners that I did not feel right not spending quality time with the Lord, and they prayed for me.
However, in my busy times of shopping, and various types of involvement, I always take the opportunity to say something uplifting to all those paths I cross. In doing that, I believe the Lord is pleased. Yet, the personal time has been slack.

My prayer is that all of us will always remember that every season is about Jesus. As a matter of fact, every moment is about Jesus. To maximize it, everything is about Jesus, from Genesis to Revelation, it begins with and end with Jesus.
The Word: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:1-5).
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, dominions, principalities, or powers.
All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence (Colossians 1:15-17).
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”(Revelation 1:8, 22:13).
Jesus came as a babe; this is what we are celebrating; He’s coming again in power and in might to rule and reign and He will reward the faithful. My friends, that’s the beginning and thee end of the “Greatest Story Ever Told”
