Sunday before last, I posted a message about “Exhortation and Warning” because of certain things that are going on in the body of Christ; the church, which is God’s House. This is a physical place where saints of God gather corporately to worship and strengthen each other so God will be glorified. We are the spiritual house who gather in the physical house, therefore everything that goes on in God’s house should also be spiritual.
I did not attend church service that Sunday; however, I listened to the pastor’s sermon and it edified and gave confirmation about the message that is posted today. Our Father is the Amazing God! There are many in the body of Christ who do not believe that the Lord speaks through others when they are off course.
There are certain things happening in the house of God that should not be names among the saints who are holy and righteous, but they are not practicing or walking in holiness and righteousness which is a process of sanctification.
But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting [unclean, indecent talk], which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them (Ephesians 5:3-7).
The pastor’s message came from Hebrews 3:7-19- He is teaching a series from the book of Hebrews. All of the pastor’s teachings are from a particular book from its entirety’ which gives an understanding of the entire book. He leaves no stones unturned. Debates opposing arguments – (not argumentative)- Challenge – dispute or validity of, he is willing to consider what is being said; like of us, he does not know everything.
To the main point; an overview of the pastor’s message which confirmed the message given to me, and it motivated me to keep moving forward with messages of exhortation (encouragement; warnings (rebuke); that’s my prophetic office. The reason is, sometimes I’m not sure if I am supposed to write certain messages, and other times, I feel like the message may be offensive. But what does Christ say about offences” (Matthew 10:22)- Offended (upset and angry).

“Do Not Harden You Heart” taken from Hebrews 3:7-19. Exhort/Encourage and Warn! My topic of my message was “Don’t Let Your Labor be in Vain, Exhortation and Warning!”- 8-31-25.
We are called to encourage each other, but it goes further than that. We are also accountable to our brothers and sisters in Christ. It that were not true, then we might be doing things that are not becoming when it comes to being a child of God. The office of a prophet goes further than the church being accountable to each other. The prophet can bring correction to leaders and also to a corporate body of believers.
Jesus brought correct and warnings to the pharisees and Sadducees who knew the law of Moses, and they used it along with additional rules that they added to the law to justify some of their religious and hypocritical practices and traditions (Mark 7:7-13). When Jesus confronted them, they were upset and devised a way to get rid of Him (Luke 22:2). There is no difference today with the hypocrites practicing their own traditions that are not even Biblical. Beware of people like that (Matthew 7:15-20). And there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9).
There are many false prophets, teachers, apostles, and others who are leading people astray That’s why you should know the Word of God for yourself (2 Timothy 2:15).
The main reason some people don’t want to hear the truth and turn from their way of thinking, is because of pride. I was in a class and some new books came in about the gifts. Mind you, I was not supposed to be in that class I had already finished, but someone made a suggestion for me to attend the class; this was from God for real!.
When I saw how much error was in the book, it was addressed to the pastor that they should not teach from a book that was erroneous about the gifts. He said: “I can’t tell these people that!” There have many other times during my walk with the Lord that He would allow me to see something wrong in the church.
This is just one of many instances that I operated in my prophetic office. I pray that these upcoming messages will bring encouragement, correction, and warning for the people of God to accept the truth of His Word regardless of what they learned in thee past. I will continue to share some of experiences about my office, to open the eyes of God’s people.
