Forever Grateful!
I have been posting messages since Sunday, March 10, about recent experiences pertaining to my health. My nutritionist encouraged me to share my success story/testimony as to how my lifestyle changed and how it has benefited me greatly. I certainly believe that others will benefit from these messages.
This is the fourth month since the Lord used the surgeon to remove that killer word called cancer from my breast. And then that curse word Covid invaded my body. I give thanks to the Lord God Almighty for all of the people He has placed in my life. God has different people in our lives that He uses to minister to us, with their abilities (gifts). Praise God for the various parts in the body of Christ that are useful for wherever and to whoever when there is a need.
Thanks to sooooo many who interceded, called, texted, sent those awesome words of concern and love through Facebook, LinkedIn, emails to me, cards, floral arrangements, gifts and whatever else you did to make me feel loved, needed, and accepted. There was so much done that through all the kind deeds, I may not remember everything. There was so much done that through all the kind deeds, I may not remember everything.
I want to thank my nieces who were Johnnys on the spot, and the rams in the bush. Markeeta, Cheryle, Tiwanda, and Lelia. You provided meals, groceries, and everything else that was needed. You took turns going with me to the doctors, and there was communication between y'all to see if it was available at the time the appointments were scheduled.
Y'all were on it; asked me what I wanted to eat, and you granted my desires. Y'all expressed tender loving care and I am forever grateful for being in New Jersey with my family. I hope nobody was left out; if so there was a saying “Charge it to my head and not my heart.”
Several months after I relocated to Lindenwold, these same nieces surprised me on my 80th birthday that was spearheaded by Joannie- Markeeta, Cheryle and Tiwanda put the finishing touches on my milestone.
The Word of God says: And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). It wasn’t lip service but your actions spoke louder than words, and the Lord you to fulfill my joy by your actions. And so did each one of you who extended your love to me.
I am not like the nine people with leprosy who did not thank Jesus when He healed them. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan (Luke 17:15-16).
What a blessing from God all of you are to me! I love my family and friends!.
