We are living in the days when the church conducting themselves more like the world. The increase of the devil influencing the church is growing rapidly. Jesus told His disciples and us what would happen. These people could be saved and jumped into ministry on their without waiting on God, and it is evident that they didn’t take the proper steps that are required by God.

Living Sacrifices to God

I beseech [urge] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to Godwhich is your reasonable service [God would not assign us to do anything that beyond reason.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. The world’s way does not work when to comes to God. The world is total opposition to God.

How do we present ourselves as living sacrifices to God? We must stay on the altar through Bible study (being taught the principles of God’s Word), personal study, prayer, and fellowshipping with other saints.

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Every child of God has been given the same measure of faith (started off on the same level), therefore, no one should think that they are more special to God than anyone else; yet some do.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith. [Don’t jump ahead make a fool of yourself, minister on your level].

Or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;  he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness (Romans 12:1-8).

Whatever the gift is, God will use you on your level of understanding, but you must grow in it; the more one grows, the more effective he or she becomes. It is necessary to study (2 Timothy 2:15); that’s growing in grace and thee knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

Those who skip steps will not prosper. They could be eloquent speakers, but it takes more than that. Why do you think so many ministries are falling apart or there is no spiritual growth?
