“Well Done” is what Jesus will say to those who served wholeheartedly.

God’s principles of Sowing and Reaping have been given to man since the beginning of time.

Example: Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth (Genesis 1:28).

The Lord has called us to be good stewards, which means to manage whatever He’s entrusted in our hands (Matthew 25: 14-30). Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”(Luke 9:62). A plowman looking back cuts a crooked furrow- John McArthur

This type of person is not fulfilling God’s purpose. The person started off right, but got side tracked and didn’t finish what he was called to do. There are many parable written about people who did not fulfill God’s purpose in their lives.

This does not keep them out of heaven because the person is saved; eternal life is secure; that never changes. However, God gave each of His children a specific assignment they are required to fulfill.

We are called into salvation, but we are also told to walk worthy of the call.

1)      Carry the Gospel, which is the soul winner’s crown (Daniel 12:3, Matthew 28:19-20).

            2) Run the race effectively (1 Corinthians 9:25).

            3) We are given rewards for functioning  in our gifts (Matthew 25:21, 23).

We work to receive crowns, but we don’t work for gifts; we function in the gifts given to us by 1)

1)      God the Father: Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;  or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness (Romans 12:6-8).

2)      God the Son: And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11).

The devil is a liar! How is the church going to mature and be unified without these five ministry office?

3)      God the Spirit:  for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,  to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-10).

Results of giving the best of our service-

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;  for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:1-11).

When we do this, we are giving the best of our service and we will hear our Lord say “Well done, good and faithful servant”
