Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge (Hebrews 13:4). Remember this, since all our sins have been forgiven; past, present, and future by the blood of Jesus Christ, we will be chastised or disciplined here on this earth for them. Therefore, we will not stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ for sins, but we will give account of sinful works.

So, what does that mean? Each of us has been given assignments for God’s purpose; our ministry, gifts, and service to encourage one another with and to glorify God. That’s why it is important to explore, find out, or discover what our assignment is.

The reason I brought this up is for the readers to have a clear understanding of God judging whoremongers and adulterers. After writing about marriage and divorce and what the real meaning is in Romans, chapter 7, I asked about a certain marriage and when it had told  me that the wife had waited for her husband who was not in her life for several years, then I remembered another situation that was similar.

It was worth sharing when the title was given to me “Marriage Bed Undefiled” These two stories/testimonials are certainly worth sharing pertaining to women who took their marriage vows seriously and honored the marriages, until death do them part.

This is commendable, a light and a testimony for others to read, especially since statistics say that there are more divorces in the Christian community than there are in the world system. That is so sad. What kind of example is that to the world?

Summary from AI that I agree with:

The phrase "marriage bed undefiled" comes from the Bible verse Hebrews 13:4, which states: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous"

1. "Marriage be held in honor among all":

This emphasizes the value and sacredness of marriage as an institution ordained by God. It encourages respect for marriage not just by Christians, but by everyone.

2. "Let the marriage bed be undefiled":

This refers to the physical and symbolic act of sexual intimacy within marriage. “Undefiled" signifies keeping the marriage bed pure and exclusive for the husband and wife, free from any sexual immorality or adultery. In essence, it's a call for sexual fidelity and purity within the bounds of marriage.

3. "For God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous":

This serves as a warning that God will judge those who engage in sexual sins, particularly adultery and fornication. It underscores the importance of honoring marriage and keeping the marriage bed undefiled because sexual immorality is a serious offense in God's eyes.

In summary:

The verse promotes the honorableness of marriage and the importance of maintaining sexual purity within its boundaries. It serves as a reminder to uphold the sacredness of marriage.

How do you think the Holy Spirit feels when the children of God are committing adultery? Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit who lived in us. Not only that, but we are also violating the command to flee fornication. Do you not know that we are married to Christ and when we commit adultery, we are committing adultery against Christ?
