This is a summary of what certain words means that were pertaining to the messages about the church. In the near future, I will write about “Titles, and Who They Belong to”
Dictionary- theology, the study of the nature of God and religious belief. The Word THEO, or THEOS means God, so in essence every child of God is commanded by God to study for themselves (2 Timothy 2:15). In actually, you’re studying or learning who God is.
How can anyone know Him unless they take time with God. So, this theology is for all of God’s people. No one set of Christians are told to get trained into the Word of God; we all are.

The people in Acts who searched the scriptures (the Word -God) for themselves were called noble. Although they were taught by some of the best scholars, they need to know God more personally for themselves. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so (Acts 17:11).
From the internet- Seminary, school of theology: A seminary, school of theology, theological college, or divinity school is an educational institution for educating students (sometimes called seminarians) in scripture and theology, generally to prepare them for ordination to serve as clergy, in academics, or mostly in Christian ministry.
How are homiletics and hermeneutics related, or what kind of connection is there to Seminary.
AI Overview
Homiletics and hermeneutics are related but distinct disciplines within the context of preaching. Hermeneutics is the science and art of interpreting biblical texts, focusing on understanding the original meaning of the text. Homiletics, on the other hand, is the study and practice of preparing and delivering sermons, applying the principles of rhetoric to communicate the meaning of the text to an audience. In essence, hermeneutics provides the understanding of the text, while homiletics utilizes that understanding to craft and deliver an effective sermon.

Since hermeneutics is being able to interpret, that’s okay within itself, but are we also told to study to show ourselves approved unto God ? This is the point – getting higher Biblical education is fine if its what the Spirit of the God is leading someone to do, because there is a purpose for everything.
What about homiletics? I did not know that someone else has to help prepare and deliver sermons. That is operating in the flesh for sure. Who gets glorified? God definitely is not involved when comes to trying to use different methods to craft and deliver a message. The person may deliver a message, but deliverance does not come to the people.

I never come up with a method; the Holy Spirit helps me to write; it’s about yielding to the Spirit. If one has to take time to practice how the message is to build an audience, play on their emotions, that is not of God. The people get on an emotional high, and they crash; they are left empty.
Back to seminary: Even with those who go to a Biblical school of higher learning, how do they know what is being taught is true, or better yet; if it was rightly divided. I have listened to and read information from many scholars, and in my personal studying along having a phenomenon teacher, I found errors. know that?
With the help of the Holy Spirit, and my teacher, there were also other study aids like Concordance, Hebrew Greek study Bible with the meaning of words in the original language. That was a lot of digging, but it brought me closer to the Lord.

If you want to draw closer to the Lord, do it His way. Ministering is not a gimmick; it is about God being glorified through people getting delivered from bondage through His Word. No strings attached.
